What Can We Do?

After learning the truth about the planned landfill expansion and understanding the devastating impacts that our community is facing, the next question is often "What can we do and how can we stop this?"

We have a multi-pronged plan.  This plan includes:

• Community outreach via multiple channels (for example, social media, community events, connections with local businesses, distribution of yard signs and flyers)
• Contacting local, state, and national representatives, community leaders, and government agencies such as boards of health and the EPA
• Attending local council meetings to voice our concerns and ask for support
• Research (academic and government studies, information about landfills, history, and policies)
• Legal defense
